Meet photographer Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown’s passion for photography began at an early age but not until a skiing accident in 1990 did the journey into the professional side of his passion begin.
Entirely self-taught Charlie develop his skills in the visually stimulating costal town of Port Campbell, on the Great Ocean Road.

Later, a keen focus on skiing and winter-related activities drew him to the Victorian Alps and for 25 years he has spent the winters working in the 3 major resorts, the last 14 years have been at Falls Creek, photographing the brochures & commercial material for the lift Company as well as private commissions.

For the past 25 summers, until 2 years ago, he has lived in the coastal town of Sorrento but a new baby and the need for a slightly more relaxed lifestyle prompted the move to Mt Beauty in the Kiewa Valley.

Never one to sit still and seeing the beauty & activities that the North East has to offer, Charlie has started up his website
